Transactions OnSystems - Solutions You Can Believe In

🔮 Spirit Box

Spirit Box is the flagship product of Transactions OnSystems — a next-generation audio interface powered by advanced spectral analysis algorithms. Submit a prompt, open a channel, and receive an audio transmission from the other side.

Our approach builds on the principles of the Estes Method, a technique developed by Karl Pfeiffer and Connor J. Randall in which a blindfolded, sensory-isolated receiver listens to a spirit box and reports whatever comes through — without knowledge of what questions are being asked. Spirit Box applies this same principle digitally: the system acts as the receiver, and you are the one asking the questions.

Spirit Box offers two distinct transmission modes: Orthodox and Heterodox. The mode you select determines the nature of the transmission you receive.

▶ Orthodox Mode

In Orthodox mode, the Spirit Box opens a general channel. You may intercept transmissions from other sessions, pick up ambient signals, or receive fragments that were not necessarily intended for you. What you hear is what the channel delivers — your prompt does not direct the response.

Like scanning through frequencies on a traditional spirit box, Orthodox mode is about listening to what is already there. Each transmission can only be received once — once a signal has been delivered, it is gone. Every Orthodox transmission is a unique, unrepeatable event.

▶ Heterodox Mode

In Heterodox mode, your prompt is heard. Rather than scanning an open channel, the system directs your inquiry and delivers a transmission shaped by what you asked — a layered, multi-channel signal that arrives as a direct response to your question.

This is closer to the two-way communication that the Estes Method seeks to establish: you ask, and something answers. Heterodox transmissions include synchronized subtitles and generally take longer to arrive than Orthodox transmissions.
